When I think of cake, I think of parties, whether for a birthday, anniversary, or wedding; cakes are made for celebrations. Patty Cakes Specialty Cake Company needed some celebratory elements. I came up with having what look like whipped cream dollops as a border to the logo. I think the colors and other design elements really elevate the design. The Patty Cakes brand came from a simple project made to teach us how to create a form layout. I found the average layout boring and wanted to challenge the layout, myself, and help my design stand out from others. I got to create the logo, which inspired me to design a new layout to fit it on the form.
