Why Ducky Designs?
The name Ducky Designs comes from a place that’s all about embracing the fun, spontaneous, and bold side of life. I’ve always loved art—whether it’s the way it brightens my day or how it can evoke emotions that words can’t express. Art is a unique language, and one piece can mean something completely different to each person who experiences it. But what truly sets me apart as a designer isn’t just my love for art; it’s who I am as a person.
I’m a nerd, a collector, and an adrenaline junkie. I love feeding my inner-child, diving into new activities that keep things exciting and unpredictable. Most people aren’t as spontaneous as I am, and I take pride in the risks I’m willing to take—whether it’s coming up with a bold design concept or being outspoken with a client. For me, creativity thrives on honesty, and I approach each project with authenticity, wanting to reflect my clients’ true vision while injecting a sense of fun and energy.
I’ve had experience working for both corporations and individual clients, and while I value the structure of corporate work, I prefer collaborating with individual clients. It allows me more creative freedom, and I find that each new project feels like a fresh adventure. That said, I’d love to work in a larger design agency one day, where the work is diverse and constantly evolving. I believe that kind of variety would push my creativity even further.

It’s about offering a range of pricing options that make design accessible, no matter the budget, while giving clients a variety of choices that make the creative process fun and dynamic. I know I still need to work on confidently charging what I’m worth as a freelancer, but that’s all part of my growth as a designer.

I want to leave an impression that feels memorable, fun, and creative, and that’s why I strive to be timely, thorough, and offer multiple design options.
